All of your loan payments must be up-to-date before you can skip. If you choose to participate in Skip-A-Loan, all of your qualified Space City CU loans will be skipped. If you have an account with a negative balance, you are not eligible for the Skip-A-Loan program. You may only participate in the Skip-A-Loan program once every 12 months. Your loan must be at least one year old in order to participate in the Skip-A-Loan program.

Space City CU's 2nd Annual Wolf Scholarship Golf Classic
Verna Wolf recently retired after serving on the board of Space City Credit Union for 40 years. A scholarship in her name has been established to honor her dedication to the credit union movement and the philosophy of "People-Helping-People".
Space City Credit Union is hosting its 2nd Annual Wolf Scholarship Golf Classic to raise funds to help deserving students reach their educational goals with a Wolf Scholarship.

ATM Cards Converting to VISA Debit Cards
In an effort to bring you more convenient products and services, Space City Credit Union is undergoing a transition with our plastic cards. If you have a Space City CU ATM card, you will be receiving a brand new VISA Debit Card and Personal Identification (PIN) Number that will be linked to your savings account. This card can be used at the ATM as well as at point-of-sale transactions. Please see a copy of your electronic funds transfer disclosure for further rules tied to this card. Four scholarships are available to all Space City Credit Union members and immediate family. Space City Credit Union held its first annual Wolf Scholarship Golf Classic on November 1st 2010, at Woodland’s Panther Trail in The Woodlands, Texas. From that fundraiser event, we were able to allocate the sum of $5,000.00 towards our new scholarship fund.

$250,000 Insurance Coverage is Now Permanent
NCUA Insurance Coverage: Barack Obama recently signed into law the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. This act includes sweeping legislation provisions making permanent the current $250,000 maximum federal deposit insurance level, which had been temporary until Dec. 31, 2013.
